Speaker Introduction: ABDOLREZA SARVGHAD MOGHADAM is an associate professor with a PhD from the McMaster University, Canada. He currently works at the International Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Seismology (IIEES) and has over 20 years of teaching experience in doctoral and master's programs. He served as the Director of the Structural Engineering Research Center at IIEES for 10 years, and is a member of the National Code Formulation Committee, a Director of the Iranian Association of Earthquake Engineering, and the President of the Iranian Society of Civil Engineers. He also acts as a senior seismic engineering consultant for 3 national professional institutions and a senior auditor for seismic retrofitting projects. His research focuses on nonlinear analysis, performance-based design, torsional behavior of irregular and complex buildings, and innovative seismic structural systems. He has professional work experience in seismic evaluation and retrofitting.
